Footpath Access
The park is situated opposite the Captain Cook Schoolroom Museum and is approached by the footbridge over the River Leven.  It provides a quiet sanctuary with the trees providing protection from wind and blocking out the sounds of traffic.  The water cascades over the Waterfall and it can be a spectacular sight after heavy rainfall in the hills.  Waterfall Park also features an old (decommissioned) Victorian Urinal.

The footpath continues beyond the park providing access to the Riverside Walk where a kick-about area (including goal posts) has been developed.  The footpath continues to Little Ayton, Easby and beyond.
